What's NEXT?

The silence is over!!

After a number of months of silence and seeming inactivity, I am jumping back into the blog world! Although I can't make any promises, hopefully I will be able to post thoughts and pictures in a more regular and intentional fashion ... we'll see.

In any case, I do know that there will be a significant amount of activity on this site in the "NEXT" few weeks, due to the fact that I am heading to New Orleans once again. This time I am leading a team from Western and Northern Wisconsin to work on some reconstruction projects in the continuing efforts to help people on the Gulf Coast get their lives back on track after Hurricane's Katrina and Rita. This group is primarily from Cedarbrook Church in Menomonie, Wisconsin. We'll have 4 vehicles, 17 people, 3000 miles and who knows how many sandwiches, jars of peanuts and bags of Twizzlers!! Just for grins, here's a "route map" of our trip.

Stay tuned for future "blog-casts" regarding this team's adventures!

NEXT ... OK, you may be asking, ... what's with the "NEXT" thing? ... Well, Joyce and I have launched a brand-new non-profit organization called, next international. Our mission is to "mobilize and equip people for global impact" as we encourage them to "make their mark on the world!"

Our conviction remains strong, that God has gifted people in incredible ways for the purpose of investing themselves to bring help and hope to those in need. We truly believe that God is building HIS KINGDOM with "Living Stones" and He has given us the desire to help shape the lives of those whom He brings to us by walking with them and coaching them for a part of their journey. We're excited about this new venture and the potential it holds for impact!
